Jan-Philipp Strobel is a professional photojournalist from Germany.
The 22-year old Jan-Philipp takes pictures for many German newspapers and magazines.
Jan-Philipp’s career started in June 2006 with his first own camera he got as a birthday present.
Since then, he increasingly improved, driven by curiosity and his interest in photography.
This did not remain unnoticed and in February 2007 the then 17 year old pupil took a side job as a journalist and photographer for the local newspapers in his home town of Schwaebisch Gmuend (GMUENDER TAGESPOST) and in Aalen (SCHWAEBISCHE POST).
Soon he began to focus on photography and photojournalism although he liked writing, too.
Jan-Philipp reached the next level in February 2008 when he decided to work as a self-employed photographer.
In July 2010 Jan-Philipp graduated from High School (Parler-Gymnasium Schwaebisch Gmuend) and became a full-time photojournalist.
